- Day 1
- Visit Cadbury World* near Birmingham and/or the Magna Science Adventure Centre* at Doncaster en route to York.
- Day 2
- Spend the morning in York visiting the National Railway Museum (free entry) or York Dungeons*. In the afternoon we could visit the Minster, the medieval shopping streets known as the Shambles, and the excellent Castle Museum*. In the evening you could enjoy a river cruise* followed by a guided Ghost Walk*.
- Day 3
- Enjoy a day at Alton Towers (entry included).
