York Minster

Historic York

This is a very popular tour. York is a fascinating walled medieval city with excellent traffic-free shopping streets and one of the country’s finest Cathedrals – the York Minster. You can add optional visits to the scary York Dungeons or enjoy a relaxing cruise on the river from the city centre. The York Castle Museum is one of the UK’s leading museums of social life with reconstructed shops and houses from the past. You can combine the tour with visits to other UK attractions en route. You will be amazed by the Magna Science Adventure Centre – a truly unique educational experience which looks at the elements of earth, air, water and fire. Who could resist a visit to Cadbury World – Birmingham’s very own chocolate paradise? Very popular with schools!
