The European School Trip to Strasbourg – visiting France, Germany & Switzerland
This school trip will particularly appeal to schools interested in European languages and politics. During the school trip we visit France, Germany and Switzerland. Strasbourg is the home of the European Parliament and is a beautiful city with a fine gothic Cathedral surrounded by half-timbered medieval houses. A city of culture and of trade, Strasbourg was returned to France after being annexed by Germany in WW2.
Europa Park Theme Park
A major appeal for students on this school trip will be the day in the Europa Theme Park. Situated in Rust, Germany, this is the second most popular theme park in Europe after Disneyland Paris®. There is plenty to excite students of all ages! The park has nine roller coasters the oldest being the Alpenxpress Mine Train where you travel at speed through a diamond cave. The Park is large but is divided up into 14 smaller zones, each named after a European country. Each zone offers a wide range of rides and a variety of shows during the day – see www.europapark.de for more information.
