Spain & Barcelona
This is a wonderful tour, particularly for students studying Spanish. Barcelona is the ancient capital of Catalonia and highlights of the city tour are the shops in the Las Ramblas quarter and Gaudi’s incredible Cathedral, La Sagrada Familia. Our tour includes some excursions and time in resort.
PortAventura Theme Park
PortAventura is an exciting theme park resort that takes you on a fascinating journey around the world! The exotic lands of China, Polynesia, the Far West, Mexico and, of course, the Mediterranean, are brought to life before your very eyes as you try the impressive rides, take in one of the many shows and meet some very familiar characters... rides of pure adrenalin such as the Hurakan Condor that drops you from a great height or the huge Dragon Khan rollercoaster with its 8 inverted loops. There are more gentle rides too such as the Tami Tami, Tutuki Splash or Kon Tiki Wave. For a complete change you can submerge yourself in a world of fantasy aboard the submarine in the 3D film simulator Sea Odyssey.
7 Day Tour – Costa Brava and PortAventura Theme Park from £275¹
- Day 1
- Travel via Calais to France. Evening meal stop (near Rhiems) and on towards Spain.
- Day 2
- After a breakfast stop we go to our 3 star hotel with swimming pool arriving around lunch time. Rest of the day at leisure in resort. Four days full board included.
- Day 3
- Barcelona tour (morning or full day) which can include the Nou Camp Stadium*, Poble Espanyol de Montjuïc*, Gaudi’s unfinished Cathedral, La Sagrada Familia and Las Ramblas.
- Day 4
- Visit to the medieval centre of Girona followed by the afternoon at Marineland* or Waterworld* aquatic park.
- Day 5
- Visit the PortAventura theme park resort² (entrance included).
- Day 6
- Most of the day in resort – departing late afternoon for home.
- Day 7
- Return on a lunchtime ferry and home.
Accommodation
Students share multi-bedded rooms on a Full Board basis (all drinks extra).
