Holland & Amsterdam
Amsterdam has a compact medieval city centre which makes it easy to explore on foot. There are many world famous art galleries and museums to explore and a visit to Anne Frank’s house is highly recommended. For Business Studies tours, we can arrange a visit to a diamond factory, cheese producer and the Heineken brewery. For science students the NEMO centre makes an excellent visit.
Efteling Theme Park
Efteling is the largest and most popular theme park in Holland with attractions that will appeal to all student ages. It is one of the best theme parks in Europe. The park is set in 160 acres of fragrant pine forest and is divided into four themed areas or ‘realms’. In the Ruigrijk (Adventure Realm) are the serious roller coaster rides like Python. Marerijk (Fairy Realm) is the home to a Fairy Tale Forest, Anderrijk (Alternative Realm) has some rides that are inspired by non-Western cultures, while Reizenrijk (Travel Realm) has a Carnival Festival ride, which travels through several different ‘countries’.
