CURRICULUM FOCUS - German, History, Geography, Science, Religious Studies - KS 3 & 4

This tour is a perfect introduction to Germany for students learning German. The vast Gothic Cologne Cathedral is inspiring and the rack and pinion railway to Konigswinter provides breathtaking views across the Rhine. The drive along the Rhine valley to Boppard takes you past some of the most beautiful scenery in Germany (one of UNESCO's World Heritage sites) and there are many stunning castles and striking cliffs as you pass through the Rhine Gorge. We can offer an optional river cruise on a paddle steamer along part of the Rhine which passes the famous Loreley statue. The Deutches Eck in Koblenz is a popular visit - a stunning promontory  where the River Moselle meets the River Rhine
