Day 2: Full day at Parc Astérix. Returning to Calais late afternoon.

3 Day School Trip – Parc Astérix and Paris tour with Seine river cruise from £159

Day 1: Travel via Calais to your hotel near Paris. An evening stop will be taken en route for dinner*.
Day 2: Full day at Parc Astérix. Dinner* and evening shopping at a hypermarket.
Day 3: Take a short tour of the sights of Paris ending with a river cruise on the Seine before heading for Calais and home.

Day 2: Full day in Paris starting with a tour of all the major sights. See the Eiffel Tower and enjoy a river cruise on the Seine. Afternoon can be spent in central Paris or in the Montmartre area to see the Sacré Coeur and the artists’ square. In the evening after your meal* you could see Paris by night or stroll along the Champs Elysées.
Day 3: Full day at Parc Astérix. Dinner* and evening shopping at a hypermarket.
Day 4: Visit a hypermarket (Cité Europe) or a chocolate factory* or the Nausicaã Aquarium in Boulogne* or Vimy Ridge WW1 memorial and home.

Parc Asterix Theme Park

Parc Astérix features 10 big thrill attractions including the world famous Tonnerre de Zeus (Thunder of Zeus) rollercoaster. This huge wooden ride is ranked as one of the best in the world and reaches speeds of 50mph. The TransDémonium, a haunted medieval castle, is great fun. You descend to the dungeons of the Cité Médiévale, where evil spirits and witches torture and terrorise humans... If you like white knuckle rides you won't be disappointed. You can plummet at breakneck speed back to prehistoric times on the Trace du Hourra, a thrilling bobsleigh style ride unique in Europe. Or try the Goudurix corkscrew rollercoaster which spins you head-over-heels 7 times! For those who prefer a more gentle pace there is the village of the Gauls with a peaceful river ride or you can take charge of an old car on the Nationale 7 as it bumps through the countryside. Once a day there is a show with jugglers and trapeze acrobats in Les Stars de L'Empire and don't miss the Poseidon Theatre with real dolphins and sea lions.

There are lots of options for meals at Parc Asterix from snacks to waiter service restaurants. Most groups use the self-service restaurants which offer an excellent range of lunches and snacks.

We can arrange prebooked dinners in a Parc Asterix restaurant for your group. Prices from £12 per student.

FLUNCH Meal Vouchers - £9 per student

We can provide meal vouchers for Flunch self-service restaurants - a national chain of self-service restaurants across France. Excellent choice of meals which mean most students find something they will like to eat! Vegetarian options. Lots of salads. Pure fruit juices as well as fizzy drinks. Wine and beer available for adults. Usually next to hypermarkets so handy for buying more bottled water at a reasonable price. see www.flunch.fr for sample menus.

Central Paris Restaurant - £11 per student

We can prebook meals for your group at a restaurant near the Arc de Trionphe. Two course menu designed for UK students tastes - choice of hot main course (roast chicken, gammon etc) and patisserie for dessert. 1 drink included. Water free. Wine included for staff (on request).

Other Restaurants in Paris

We can also book tables at other well known international chain restaurants such as the Hard Rock Café, or Pizza Hut near L'Opéra on the Champs-Elysées. Please ask for a quote.

3 Course Dinner in Montmartre
We can arrange a meal in a traditional French restaurant overlooking the Artists' Square in Montmartre for £20 per student, staff free of charge - waiter-served 3 course meal with choice and drink included.

Dinner at hotel
Dinner can be arranged at your hotel - from £13 per student (staff free). Limited menu choice in 2* hotels so we would recommend eating in restaurants if possible.

Packed Lunches
We can arrange for packed lunches delivered to your hotel in the morning: £6.50 per students, staff free of charge.
Choice of sandwiches - cheese, ham, tuna and salad for vegetarians plus a drink. Gluten free available.
